St Andrews Escape started life in the year 2000 as 12 acres of mainly bare land.  A vision to create a special garden paradise, and a labour of love has led to the amazing environment you can now experience - far-removed from ordinary city accommodation, yet minutes away from the twin Hawke's Bay cities of Napier and Hastings and the bustling village of Havelock North.

Hawke's Bay, on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island, is renowned for its bountiful produce, fine wineries, artisan food producers, as well as a vast network of cycle trails, close proximity to Te Mata Peak and the Ruahine Ranges and the beautiful beaches of Waimarama, Ocean Beach and Waipataki, to name a few.

The seaside city of Napier is world-famous for its stunning Art Deco architecture, built in the aftermath of a devastating earthquake in 1931.
